Welcome! My name is Cachet Colvard and I am the Associate Administrator for the Emergency Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Most recently, I completed an Administrative Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in June 2018.
In 2017, I graduated with a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and I am a Master of Business Administration candidate at the UM-Dearborn College of Business. In 2015, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan where I majored in Asian Studies, with a concentration in Chinese Language and Culture. I completed an Administrative Internship at Detroit Medical Center in the system-level Project Management office. I had the opportunity to work on projects for each of the 7 hospitals centered around developing system-ness, process improvement, patient experience, and healthcare quality. Throughout graduate school, I served as president of Women in Health Leadership and held board positions with the Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. I currently serve a board position with the National Association of Health Services Executives as the Early Careerist Liaison.
As an emerging leader in healthcare, I want to build a community rooted in equity, respect, and integrity. With my training I aspire to provide high quality care to those in my community and beyond. I believe that access to care is the right of every human being regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. Ultimately, I want to help create a larger platform for women and minorities in healthcare to achieve success and leadership within their organizations.
